Order Types, Fills, and Slippage

How orders are filled in our simulated environment, what slippage is, and how to report a fill issue.

Written by Ultra Future Funding

All Ultra Future Funding accounts — evaluation and funded — are simulated accounts. Orders are filled by our simulation engine using live CME Group market data. Simulated fills are designed to reflect real market conditions, but they may differ from what you would receive in a live market.

How Orders Are Filled

  • Market orders fill at the best available price at the time the order is processed. In fast markets the fill price may be worse than the last price you saw.

  • Limit orders fill at your price or better. A limit order is not guaranteed to fill just because the market touched your price.

  • Stop orders become market orders when your stop price is reached and can fill at a worse price than your stop, especially during news or gaps.

See "How to Place Orders on the Platform" for the order types available.

Slippage

Slippage is the difference between the price you expected and the price you received. It is a normal part of futures trading and is most common:

  • Around economic releases (CPI, FOMC, NFP) and market opens

  • In thinly traded hours or contracts

  • When trading large size relative to available liquidity

Slippage counts toward your P&L, your Maximum Loss Limit, and your winning days. Use limit orders and appropriate size to manage it.

Fills Are Final

We do not adjust trades for normal slippage, partial fills, or market movement. Exploiting delays, errors, or any difference between simulated and live fills is prohibited conduct and may result in account closure and forfeiture of profits.

Reporting a Platform Error

If you believe a fill was caused by a technical error on our platform (not normal market behavior), contact support within 24 hours with:

  • Your account ID

  • The order ID(s)

  • The date and time of the order (ET)

  • A screenshot if available

We will review the platform logs. Any adjustment is at our sole discretion.
