High-Volatility Risk Adjustments

How and when we may temporarily adjust contract limits or trading during extreme volatility.

Written by Ultra Future Funding

News trading is allowed at Ultra Future Funding. To protect the program during extreme conditions, we may make temporary risk adjustments.

When Adjustments May Happen

  • Major scheduled events, such as FOMC rate decisions, CPI, or Non-Farm Payrolls

  • Unscheduled market shocks or extreme volatility

  • CME price limits, trading halts, or data feed disruptions

What We May Adjust

  • Temporarily lower maximum contract limits

  • Restrict certain order types or new positions for a short period

  • Pause trading on a specific contract if market data is unreliable

Notice

When possible, we will announce adjustments in advance in the platform and by email. In sudden events, adjustments may take effect immediately. If a reduced limit is below your current position size, you will be asked to reduce the position; we may reduce it for you if needed.

What Does Not Change

Your profit target, Maximum Loss Limit, and payout rules are not changed by a temporary risk adjustment.
